Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency
The Forestry Bureau is responsible for overseeing national forest resources and terrestrial conservation efforts. Through various types of research and ongoing investigations, we gather information on the biodiversity across different regions, supporting the implementation of sustainable forestry and ecological conservation policies. The core objective of establishing the Ecological Survey Data Repository is to securely store, integrate, and make available to the public the original species data obtained through our commissioned, subsidized, and self-conducted research efforts over the years. This system is designed as a cloud service, allowing organizations that share our data collection practices and open data principles to establish their own profiles within the system for data collection, management, and sharing. We welcome collaborative use of this resource!
