Taiwan Biodiversity Information Alliance, TBIA

We are a group of institutions dedicated to biodiversity with biological databases. Faced with challenges such as scattered or inconsistent biodiversity data that are difficult to utilize, we aim to promote data integration and sharing through collaborative efforts among partner members to enhance the visibility of biodiversity information. Currently, the alliance consists of fifteen partners: Biodiversity Research Center, Taiwan Biodiversity Research Institute, Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency, Ocean Conservation Administration, National Park Service Ministry, Taiwan Forestry Research Institute, National Taiwan Museum , Water Resources Agency, National Museum of Natural Science, Academia Sinica Center for Digital Cultures, Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation, National Academy of Marine Research, National Taiwan University School of Forestry and Resource Conservation, Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, and National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. Additionally, there is one collaborator: CPC Corporation. In the future, we welcome other biodiversity database units that share our vision to join us in establishing a robust Taiwan biodiversity data sharing network!
