The Crop Germplasm Information System (https://www.npgrc.tari.gov.tw/) provides public access to information on germplasm conserved in Taiwan Crop Genebank (TCG). Accessible data include passport information, characterization and evaluation data, as well as imaging records. The system also offers an online platform for germplasm distribution requests. Established in 1993, the TCG preserves over 100,000 accessions under controlled conditions of low temperature, low humidity, and seismic protection. These accessions, rich in genetic diversity, serve as a cornerstone for agricultural research and breeding. They are not only vital for safeguarding food security but also represent valuable resources for addressing the challenges of climate change.
